The Groom's Room and The Setting - A South African Coastal Wedding Revisited
In a previous post a couple of months ago, I posted some shots I did for my brother's wedding. This time, I showcase some of the photographs of the groom's room, and the setting. I have not edited most of the photographs, as I am busy with my studies and also the fact that I did the shoot for nothing for him. Due to covid and lockdowns, they could not get a photographer, but he knew that I did photography. So he asked for some help. So here I have edited some of the groom's room, and how his clothes looked like. I think some of the photographs capture the feelings we all felt on that day. It was a very small and intimate wedding. Only close family members. I think some of the grey and sepia photographs capture this almost sombre feeling we all felt due to the small wedding, but also the intimate feelings bleed through. Please enjoy these photographs of a wedding I did last year!
The Setting
I think the sepia colour works so well on this photograph. The wind and the waves in the background with the colour just work for my eye. What do you think?

The Groom's Room
Here again, I played with the colour. I made this grey to convey the lonely feeling of the small wedding. Some dream of a big wedding and all their friends. But in lockdown, we could not do this. So this image feels symbolic of that lonely feeling.
I hope you enjoyed these simple photographs. Next time I will try to edit and share some of the other images, like the bride's room and the wedding cake. Maybe I can get permission to share of the photographs I took of the bride and groom. Stay safe!
