The Cape Spurfowl (pternistis capensis) Bringing Her Kids for a Visit in My Fynbos Garden

These shy friends' last visit to my garden was at the end of August, which feels like almost a year ago. They finally returned with their kids! Mommy Cape Spurfowl brought to almost teenagers or juveniles to the garden for a brief moment. It is always so quick! It is almost like my garden is a walkthrough for them and the Helmeted Guineafowls. They eat some seeds along the way, but it never lasts more than 20 minutes. So these shots, from my perspective, was very lucky! This week I chose 4 images, which I think captures their beauty the best. Please enjoy the beautiful South African feathered friends!
