I have always been obsessed with a pitch-black background and a stark image contrasted against the background. I normally use this technique in my art and drawings. I sometimes draw with my eraser, taking away from the black background to bring to life the image.

The first two images are of nectarines. The bright orange stands out against the black background. The last three images are of a chess set that was carved in Madagascar.
